Wright, Kapral

Lisa Marie Wright and George Michael Kapral Jr., together with their families, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Walter and Mary Wright, Lakeland, Fla. She is the granddaughter of Adeline Skirchak, Mountain Top.

Lisa is a 1999 graduate of Crestwood High School and a 2003 cum laude graduate of Bloomsburg University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in elementary education. She earned her master's degree in education from Wilkes University in 2011. She is a teacher in the Greater Nanticoke Area School District.

The prospective groom is the son of Jeanne Kapral, Trucksville, and the late George Kapral Sr. He is the grandson of Jean Bartosh, Trucksville, and Sophie Kapral, Dallas.

George is a 2000 graduate of Dallas High School. He earned his associate's degree from Luzerne County Community College in 2002. He is a laborer for Keystone Landscaping.

The couple will exchange vows Dec. 1, 2012, at Stairville United Methodist Church, Wapwallopen. An outdoor reception is planned for Aug. 31, 2013, at the Checkerboard Inn Pavilion, Trucksville.
