Wright Twp. to seek $800K grant

WRIGHT TWP. – Supervisors agreed Monday to apply for an $800,000 grant from state gaming funds to be used for improvements to their police office and to add garage bays below the building.

Secretary Joan Malkemes said the police are working out of an cramped 500-square-foot space and the addition would improve the building's functionality.

In other matters, the supervisors received word that the township's flood plain ordinance is in compliance with Federal Emergency Management Agency standards.
