Keystone College conducts Watershed course

The Keystone College Environmental Education Institute held its Watershed Explorers course for educators teaching children in kindergarten through grade six this past week.

Keystone Professor and wild life biologist, Doctor Jerry Skinner led the Watershed Explores course, on Thursday, June 25.

Watershed Explorers is a hands-on science based course that explores watershed concepts and environmental issues.  Key topics included human impact on the watershed, water movement in the forest, watershed strategies and case studey of watershed issues at nearby Glenburn Pond.
