HAZLETON: Immanuel Christian School, 725 N. Locust St., is enrolling kindergarten students for the 2015-16 school year. The full-day program exposes children to art, music, drama, foreign languages and health and science. Children should be 5 years old by Sept. 1, but exceptions will be considered.

NANTICOKE: The Church Women United of Wyoming Valley will hold its World Day of Prayer on Friday, March 6, at St. Faustina Church, main site. The theme for the event is “Jesus said, ‘Do You Understand What I Have Done For You.’” A practice will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, at St. Faustina Church. The chairperson is Gloria Eget.
