Amanda Tomaselli and Elias Tohme, together with their families and friends, celebrated their wedding on Dec. 30, 2016. The ceremony took place at St. George’s Maronite Catholic Church, Wilkes-Barre. The reception was held at The Green Ridge Club, Scranton.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Michelle Tomaselli, Trucksville. She is the granddaughter of Joseph and Hedy McGraw, Shavertown; and the late Fred and Yolanda Tomaselli, Dallas.

The groom is the son of Zakaria and Candice Shiner-Tohme, Wilkes-Barre Township. He is the grandson of Theresa A. Shiner and the late Howard J. Shiner, Jr., Wilkes-Barre Township; and Nadia Tohme and the late Youssef Elias Tohme, Kour, Lebanon.

Amanda is presently employed by the Wyalusing Area School District as a speech and language pathologist.

Eli is currently a third year medical student at The Commonwealth Medical College, Scranton. Eli is also a second lieutenant in the United States Air Force. The couple resides in Trucksville.
