Courtney Sowinski and Chase Dragoon exchanged wedding vows on Aug. 20, 2016, at Perkins Cove in Ogunquit, Maine. Jack Gordon, Captain of The Silver Lining Sailboat, officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Tom and Marisa (Pingar) Sowinski, of Mountain Top. She is the granddaughter of the late Walter and Mary (Vasko) Sowinski, Queens, New York; the late Francis Pingar, Freeland, and Marie (DeLeonardis) Pingar, who currently resides in West Chester.

The groom is the son of Valerie (Baldwin) Dragoon, of Concord, New Hampshire; and Michael Dragoon, of Cincinnati, Ohio. He is the grandson of Robert and Maryanne Dragoon, Hanover, Maine; and the late Harvey and Geraldine Baldwin, Concord, New Hampshire.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Tom Sowinski. She chose her sister, Rachel Sowinski, as her maid of honor. Her bridesmaid was Katie McCloskey and brides men were Kevin Hourigan and Justin Scalzo, friends of the bride.

The groom chose his brother, Max Dragoon, as his best man. Groomsmen were Brian Tobin and Chris Lizotte; and grooms woman was Kristin Martin, all friends of the groom.

The bride was honored at a bridal shower hosted by her parents and sister at the family home June 25, 2016. A wedding rehearsal brunch was hosted by the mother of the groom at M.C. Perkins Cove. The reception was held at The Cape Neddick Country Club.

The bride and groom met during their college years in Ogunquit, Maine, while both working summer jobs.

The bride graduated from Bishop Hoban High School in 2007 and Wagner College on Staten Island, New York, in 2011 with a B.A. in musical theatre. She is employed by Dell Technologies in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, as a marketing program manager.

The groom graduated in 2006 from Norwich High School in Norwich ,New York, and received his B.S. from Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York, where he double-majored in political science and international business. He is employed as a healthcare manager for Huron Global Management Consulting Company and currently works in Boston, Massachusetts.

The couple honeymooned in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and Bali, Indonesia.

Presently, they reside in Boston, Massachusetts.
