On Aug. 20, 2016, together with family and friends, Chelsea Elizabeth Wilson and Nicholas Robert DeFebo were united in marriage. They exchanged vows overlooking the turquoise water and sugar white sand at Secrets St. James Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Chelsea is the daughter of George and Cheryl Wilson, Kingston. She is the granddaughter of Shirley Wilson, Kingston and the late Edward and Dorothy Biernacki.

Nicholas is the son of Rosemary DeFebo, of Lackawaxen and the late William DeFebo. He is the grandson of Janice DeFebo and the late Edward DeFebo.

The bride was honored at a bridal shower hosted by Cheryl Wilson, mother of the bride, at the Appletree Terrace at Newberry Estates, Dallas.

The bride is a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School. She is also a graduate of Misericordia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and a 2017 graduate with a Masters of Science degree in nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner program. She is currently employed as a registered nurse at Geisinger, Community Medical Center, Scranton.

The groom is a graduate of Wallenpaupack High School, Lackawanna College and Marywood University with a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice, and a minor in forensic accounting. He is currently employed at United States Federal Penitentiary, Canaan, as a corrections officer.
