Bethany Joy Fiorello and Christopher Joseph Roman were united in marriage Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Shavertown United Methodist Church, Shavertown, by the Rev. Judy Walker.

The Bride is the daughter of Joseph and Karen Fiorello Sr., of Dallas. She is the granddaughter of Brian and Marilyn Kirk, of Australia; Teresa Fiorello, Dallas and the late Alfred Fiorello, Dallas.

The groom is the son of Kathie and Brian Hospodar, Tunkhannock and James Roman, Kingston. He is the grandson of Hope Beisel and the late Kenneth Beisel, Dallas, and the late Vincent and Phyllis Roman, Dallas.

The bride was given away in marriage by her father. The bride wore a one-of-a-kind gown by symphony designs, with a custom made royal train by seamstress Ms. Theresa, of Bridal Chateau of Berwick. Her gown was a fitted A-line white lace and tulle, detailed with lace appliques with pearls, sequins and Swarovski crystals. The bride’s custom veil was made by the mother of the bride, with over 1200 Swarovski crystals and an embroidered “R” accented with Swarovski crystal scroll work.

She chose Kirsten Rosenthal as junior bridesmaid, niece of the groom. Flower girls were the bride’s cousins, Maud and Dagny Fiorello, and Adalyn Moelling, niece of the groom.

The groom chose his brother-in-law, Ty Yost; nephews Cory and Taylor Case, and Justin Yost as ushers. Ring bearer was the bride and groom’s beagle, Nittany, escorted by Dylan Shedlock, nephew of the groom.

Readings were given by the groom’s sisters, Jamie Yost and Jennifer Shedlock-Moelling.

A bridal shower was hosted by the mothers of the bride and groom at Irem Country Club. The parents of the groom hosted the rehearsal dinner at Grotto, Harvey’s Lake.

Following a honeymoon in Mexico’s Riviera Maya region, the couple will reside in Dallas.
