Chelsae Rae O’Keiff and Matthew John Metzger were united in marriage on Aug. 26, 2017 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona, by the Rev. Frank Scornaienchi.
The bride is the daughter of the late John O’Keiff and Sharon O’Keiff-Fusco, Altoona. The groom is the son of Donald and Molly Metzger, Wilkes-Barre.
The bride was escorted down the aisle and given in marriage by her Uncle Rodney Bohner. She chose Olivia Farabaugh as her Matron of Honor and Sara Reimer as her Maid of Honor. Her bridesmaids were Cydney Ginter, Melissa Eckenrode, Kaileen Metzger, Kasey Sheeder, Nicolette Carothers, and Tamara Henderson.
The groom chose Michael Ondek as his best man. Groomsmen were Craig Kittrick, Bobby Wall, Vincent Forlenza, Bryan Nolan, Brent Bieker, Mitchell O’Keiff and Davey Zurek. Flower girl was AJaycia Alexander, goddaughter of the bride and groom. Ring bearer was Griffin O’Sullivan, second cousin of the groom. Scripture readers were Brittany Yohn, cousin of the bride and Kristen O’Sullivan, cousin of the groom.
The bride was honored at a display shower given by her mother and her aunt, Rona Bohner. It was hosted by her mother, aunt and bridesmaids at the Park Hill’s Country Club in Altoona.
The parents of the groom hosted the rehearsal dinner at Park Hill’s Country Club in Altoona.
The wedding reception was held at The Altoona Discovery Center, Altoona.
Chelsae is a 2008 graduate of Altoona Area High School and received her associate’s degree in science with a concentration in Physical Therapist Assistant from Mount Aloysius College in 2012. Chelsae is employed as Lead Physical Therapist Assistant at TenderTouch Rehab Services in Baltimore, Md. Matthew is a 2008 graduate of Coughlin High School and received a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is employed as a Fixed Income Trading Assistant at Morgan Stanley in Baltimore, Md.
Following the wedding, they enjoyed their honeymoon in Paris, London, and Ireland.
The couple reside in Baltimore, Md.
