Decker, Ricci united in marriage

Jennifer Ann Decker and William Charles Ricci were united in marriage on October 14, 2017 at St. Anthony + St. George Maronite Catholic Church, Wilkes-Barre, by Father Hanna Karam.

The bride is the daughter of Muriel Decker, Wilkes-Barre, and the late Victor Decker Jr. She is the granddaughter of Amy George and the late Michael George, and the late Genevieve and Victor Decker Sr.

The groom is the son of Patricia and Angelo Ricci Jr., Hanover Township. He is the grandson of Bernadine and Angelo Ricci Sr., and the late Genevieve and William Baloga Sr.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother. She chose her sister, Christina Lavan, as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Kamor, sister of the bride, Lindsi Abdalla, cousin of the bride, and Charbi Sokola and Holly Shubilla. Junior Bridesmaids were Alexis Kamor, Goddaughter of the bride, and Alexis and Keira Wombacker, nieces of the groom.

The groom chose his cousin, Jeffrey Buratti, as his best man. Groomsmen were Dennis Hooper, Patrick Guesto, Matthew Sokola, and Jason Porter.

Alanna Kamor and Mya Lavan, nieces of the bride, and Masen Lavan, godson of the bride, were chosen as flower girls and ring bearer.

Scripture readings were given by Paul Matreselva Sr., godfather of the bride, and Edward Buratti, uncle of the groom.

An evening reception was held at the Woodlands Inn and Resort with entertainment by Frankie Carl Productions. A wedding rehearsal was hosted by the parents of the groom at Vino Dolce. A bridal shower was held at The Gallery at Pierce Street by mothers of the bride and groom.

The couple honeymooned at the Hyatt Regency Resort in Aruba. They reside in Mountain Top.
