Rachel Anne Pugh and Damien William Blanchard were united in marriage on Aug. 26, 2017, by Pastor James McGee at an evening ceremony at Dundee Gardens, Nanticoke.

The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Christine Pugh, of Hunlock Creek. The groom is the son of Dennis Blanchard, of Nashua, N.H. and Rick and Rita Arnold, of Mountain Top. He is the grandson of Rita Dugan, of Kingston, and Jean Arnold, of Mountain Top.

Rachel was escorted down the aisle by her father. She chose her sister, Sarah Pugh, and friends Jennifer Rushton and Katie Borkowski as her bridesmaids. Junior Bridesmaids included her cousins, Leah Dietrich and Paige Ceaser. Cousin Maddie Pugh was the flower girl.

Damien chose his brother, Ethan Arnold, the bride’s brother, Matt Pugh, and friends Aaron Littzi and Jeff Conway as his groomsmen. Ushers included the couple’s friend, Ed Troy, and the bride’s cousin, Gregory Pugh. A scripture reading was given by the groom’s cousin, Jamie Biscotto.

The bride is employed as the branding and communications manager at Benco Dental, Pittston. The groom owns Inlan Solutions in Kingston and Scranton and is the director of technology for the Crestwood Area School District.

The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Grenada, West Indies. They currently reside in Hanover Township.
