Sara Alison Hoegen and Jacob Greco Latcham were united in marriage on October 29, 2016, in Most Holy Trinity Church, East Hampton, N.Y. The ceremony was performed by Monsignor Donald Hanson.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis J. Hoegen, of Kingston. Sara is the granddaughter of the late Christine Jeffrey McLaughlin and the late Thomas V. McLaughlin, of Wilkes-Barre, and the late Peter and Maureen McGovern Hoegen, of Kingston Township. She is also a step-granddaughter of Nancy Hagan McLaughlin, of Plains Township.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Geoffrey Latcham of Beeville, Texas. Jake is the grandson of the late Dr. and Mrs. John Greco, of North Carolina; the late Mrs. Joan Lovelace, of Beeville, Texas; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick C. Latcham, Jr., of Beeville, Texas.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a champagne silk and beaded original design by Ramona Kevez and a Cathedral length tulle veil. The bride chose her sister, Lael Hoegen McGann, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Georgia Latcham Brunson, sister of the groom; Colleen Daly and Katherine Driscoll. Kit Kovalski, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.

The groom chose his childhood friend, Otis King Fuller III, as his best man. Groomsmen were Frederick C. Latcham III, cousin of the groom; Samuel Hollander and Rodrigo Zeledon. Parker Latcham, cousin of the groom, served as ring bearer.

Scriptural Readings were given by Jared Brunson, brother-in-law of the groom; and Eric McGann, brother-in-law of the bride. Sean Burns served as cantor for the ceremony.

The bride and groom were honored at an engagement party at the home of the bride’s parents. The bride was honored at a French garden brunch in the Grove at the The Woodlands, Wilkes-Barre.

A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the groom in East Hampton, N.Y.

An evening reception featuring cocktails, dinner and dancing was held at The Hedges Inn, East Hampton, N.Y.

Mrs. Latcham is a 2012 graduate of Fairfield University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in art history and French, with dual minors in women’s gender and sexuality studies as well as religious studies. Sara also received her Master of Science in Education with a focus on educational technology at Johns Hopkins University School of Education, in May. Sara teaches Art History for the Greenwich School.

Mr. Latcham graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2009, with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in management. In 2013, Jake received his Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School. He is principle of Live Oak Industries.

The couple honeymooned in Hawaii and recently celebrated their first anniversary with a trip to the Hotel Fauchere. Mr. and Mrs. Latcham currently reside in Wikes-Barre with their goldendoodle, Roux.
