HARMONY, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say a western Pennsylvania man was injured when the horse-drawn buggy he was operating was rear-ended by a car.

WKBW-TV reports (http://bit.ly/29QmQTU ) the wounded 52-year-old man was airlifted to a Pennsylvania hospital following the crash Wednesday afternoon in the Chautauqua County town of Harmony. It’s unclear what his condition is.

A veterinarian was called to the scene to examine the horse, which wasn’t seriously injured.

Criminal charges aren’t expected to be filed against the other driver.
