Cloud10 Car Wash opens on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard

WILKES-BARRE — All the testing is complete, the soft opening was held and the brand new Cloud10 Car Wash on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard is open for business.

And if a customer signs up for a 99-cent activation fee, they will receive free car washes for a month.

Brendan Johnson, of Darien, Connecticut, a principal with the company, said Cloud10 Car Wash opened to the public on Sept. 4. A grand opening will be held in late October or early November.

“Basically, customers get to try us out for a month for free,” Johnson said. “We’re that confident that people will love our car wash.”

Johnson said the company has been extremely pleased with the customer response so far.

“And customers tell us they are thrilled to have something like this in the market,” Johnson said. “Even in the last four days, the response has been extremely positive.”

Johnson said customer comments have been positive, such as “best car wash ever,” and “customer service is fantastic.”

Johnson said the Wilkes-Barre Boulevard car wash is one of Cloud10’s flagship locations and customers “will be blown away” when they experience the new car wash and its features.

Cloud10 Car Wash is at 150 N. Wilkes-Barre Blvd. next to the Turkey Hill store at the bottom of Coal Street.

Panzitta Enterprises Inc. of Wilkes-Barre was the contractor for the project.

“It’s an express car wash. It’s a new model we’re bringing to the area,” Johnson said. “It has free vacuums and automated tellers where people can buy monthly passes.”

The wash uses “water-efficient and eco-friendly processes,” according to Cloud10’s website.

Additional car washes are planned for Wormleysburg in Cumberland County, Sewell, New Jersey, Naples and Ormond Beach, Florida.
