Patrick and Marianne Brogan, of Tunkhannock Township, formerly of Larksville, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 23, 2017.

Marianne is the former Marianne Wanyo, daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Wanyo of Plymouth. Marianne was employed by Leslie Fay Company for 14 years and BAE Systems for 9 years before retiring.

Patrick is the son of the late Clement and Bertha Brogan, of Larksville. Patrick was employed by Procter and Gamble Paper Products, Mehoopany, for 30 years.

The couple was married in St. Vincent de Paul Church, Plymouth, on Sept. 23, 1967 by the Rev. Arnold Smith. Maid of honor was Bernadette Pomicter Wanyo and best man was Clement Patrick Brogan.

The couple have three daughters: Lisa, Swoyersville; Kelly Schall and husband, Michael; Minneapolis, Minn.; and Colleen, Atlanta, Ga. The couple has one grandchild: Donovan Patrick; Minneapolis, Minn.

Patrick and Marianne are celebrating their 50th anniversary with a trip to Oahu and Maui, Hawaii.
