Sandra and Lynn Sheehan Sr., of Dallas, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 17.
They were married by the late Rev. John S. Prater at Prince of Peace Episcopal Church, Dallas.
Maid of honor was Karen Spudis, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Glenda Pomerick, Barbara Strazdus and the late Barbara Mikolaichik. Best man was the late John Sheehan, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Wes Cave, James Faerber and the late Daniel Richards.
The couple has two children, Lynn Jr. and his wife, Paula; and Megan Palmer and her husband, Dan. Their grandchildren are Caroline, Shawn and Emma, Kaitlyn and Matt.
Mrs. Sheehan is the daughter of the late Anna and August Strazdus. She is retired from The Scranton Times and works part-time at Curry Donuts. Mr. Sheehan is the son of the late Verna and Jack Sheehan. He is retired from Actel Lucent Communications.
