Edward and Marilyn (Manganello) Litwin, Sr., of Harding celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on April 4.

They exchanged vows on April 4, 1970 at the Immaculate Conception Church (Corpus Christi Parish) in West Pittston with the Rev. Angelo DeAmico officiating.

Members of the wedding party were the late Margaret (Manganello) Mancos, matron of honor; the late Sandra Patoka, maid of honor; Linda Vroblefsky, flower girl; and Elaine (Zagursky) Brennan and Donna (Milewski) LaBar, bridesmaids.

On the groom’s side were Louis Litwin, best man; Michael J. Mankos, Angelo Giannone and Joseph Patoka, ushers.

Mr. and Mrs. Litwin are both happily retired and have two sons and two grandchildren, Edward Jr., and wife Nicole (Stanczak) and their son, Joshua Stephen, 5, of Pittston; and Brian and wife Rosemary (Bartoletti) and daughter, Julia Marie, 8, of Plains.

Mrs. Litwin is the daughter of the late Peter and Alvina Manganello, of West Pittston, and the sister of the late Margaret (Manganello) Mancos, of Pittston/Wyoming. Mr. Litwin is the son of the late Steve and Tina Litwin, of Pittston.

To celebrate the occasion, a family dinner was held on April 4 at Red Lobster in Wilkes-Barre. To mark the occasion, a mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Easter Sunday, April 5 at the Church of the Holy Redeemer (Corpus Christi Parish) in Harding.
