Edward and Marilyn (Manganello) Litwin Sr., Harding, celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on April 4, 2015. They exchanged vows on April 4, 1970, at the Immaculate Conception Church (Corpus Christi Parish), West Pittston, with the Rev. Angelo DeAmico officiating.
Their attendants were: the late Margaret (Manganello) Mancos, matron of honor; the late Sandra Patoka, maid of honor; Linda Vroblefsky, flower girl; Elaine (Zagursky) Brennan and Donna (Milewski) LaBar, bridesmaids; Louis Litwin, best man; and Michael J. Mancos, Angelo Giannone and Joseph Patoka, ushers.
The couple are both happily retired and have a wonderful family, including two sons and two grandchildren: Edward Jr. and his wife, Nicole (Stanczak), and their son, Joshua Stephen, 5, Pittston; and Brian and his wife, RoseMary (Bartoletti), and daughter, Julia Marie, 8, Plains Township.
Mrs. Litwin is the daughter of the late Peter and Alvina Manganello, West Pittston, and the sister of the late Margaret (Manganello) Mancos, Pittston and Wyoming.
Mr. Litwin is the son of the late Steve and Tina Litwin, Pittston.
To celebrate the occasion, a family dinner was held on Saturday, April 4, at the Red Lobster in Wilkes-Barre. An Easter Sunday Mass will also be celebrated for them at 9 a.m. today, April 5, at the Church of the Holy Redeemer (Corpus Christi Parish) in Harding to mark the occasion.
