Stella Ropetski

    Stella P. Ropetski, 87, of Plymouth, died Saturday at ManorCare Health
Services, Kingston.
   
Born Oct. 7, 1915, in Scranton, she was a daughter of the late Michael and
Edna (Nawrot) Pargella. She attended Plymouth schools. She was a member of St.
Mary’s-St. Stephen’s Church Community, Plymouth. She worked for Wyoming Valley
Garment Industry, including Val-Kare, Kingston, as a seamstress. She was a
member of ILGWU.
   
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Sr., and sister,
Josephine Serafin.
   
Surviving are her son, Benjamin F. Jr., Plymouth; sisters, Ann Yudichak,
Larksville; Sophie Makos, Wilkes-Barre; Mary Medura, Plymouth; and numerous
nieces and nephews.
   
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday from the S.J. Grontkowski
Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9
a.m. in St. Mary’s Nativity Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery,
Plymouth Township.
   
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
   
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer
Society, Jessup.
