Alethea Garrubba

Alethea Quinn Garrubba, 85, of Delmont Lane, Jenkins Township, died
Saturday at home.
Born May 23, 1917, in Plymouth, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and
Bridget Quinn. She attended Harter High School, West Nanticoke. She was a
member of St. Joseph’s Church, Port Griffith.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Kauffman, Anna Brannigan;
brothers, Thomas and William Quinn.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph A.; twin children, Judith Casterline,
Anaheim, Calif.; Joseph A. Jr., San Francisco; four grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Evans, Hanover Township; brother, Jack
Quinn, Idaho; and several nieces and nephews
The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Friday from McLaughlin Family Funeral Service
142 S. Washington St. Wilkes-Barre, with a Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St.
Joseph’s Church. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
