Elaine Socci

Elaine M. Socci, 62, of Lyndwood Avenue, Hanover Township, died Monday in
Hospice Community Care Unit of Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Deerfield, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Elsworth and
Evelyn (Petrie) Miller. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter Day Saints, Carverton, Kingston Township.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Anna and Renae; and son, Mark.
Surviving are her daughter, Maria, Essex Junction, Vt.; sons, Lawrence,
Washington, D.C.; Vincent, Endicott, N.Y.; Andrew and Jeremy, Swoyersville;
seven grandchildren; brothers, Richard Miller, Clarks Summit; Gerald Miller,
Clearwater, Fla.; and Ronald Miller, Taylor.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday from the Paul F. Leonard
Funeral Home, 575 N. Main St., Pittston, with services at the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter Day Saints at 10 a.m. with Bishop James Campbell officiating.
Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Harding.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
