Carol Petrokonis

Carol G. Petrokonis, 56, of Cherry Hill, N.J., died Friday at the Lakewood
Nursing Home, Voorhees, N.J.
Born in Nanticoke, she was a daughter of Edmund Grudkowski and the late
Eleanore (Stydzen) Grudkowski. She was a 1964 graduate of Nanticoke High
School and a 1969 graduate of Temple University, receiving a degree in
Occupational Therapy. She was employed as an occupational therapist by Wyoming
Valley Crippled Children’s Foundation, as an instructor of occupational
therapy at College Misericordia and as director for EIP for Archway Programs,
Atco, N.J.
Surviving, in addition to her father, are daughter, Erica, at home; sister,
Diane Floryshak, Exton.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday from the Grontkowski Funeral
Home P.C., 51-53 W. Green St., Nanticoke, with a Mass of Christian Burial at
9:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, Nanticoke, with the Rev. Joseph Orlawski,
officiating.
Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Nanticoke.
