James Telford

    James T. Telford, Taylor, died Tuesday at VNA Hospice, Community Medical
Center, Scranton.
   
Born in Dickson City, he was a son of the late Laurance and Lula (Reis)
Telford. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II and was employed as
a sales manager with Coca Cola Co. and as a driver for the Jacob Davis Funeral
Home, for many years. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and its
Family Society, Taylor, and the Taylor Hose Co. 1.
   
He was preceded in death by sisters, Anna Williams and Ada Elvidge; and
brothers, Larry, Arthur, Emerson and Thomas.
   
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, the former Lucy Lenihan; sons, James
P., Taylor; Christopher W., Harding; five grandchildren; four
great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
   
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Friday from the Jacob Davis Funeral
Home, 422 S. Main St., Taylor, with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate
Conception Church, Taylor. Interment will be in Cathedral Cemetery.
   
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
   
Memorial donations may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, Taylor.
