William Sheehan

    William P. Sheehan Sr., of Avery Street, Factoryville, died Tuesday at the
Tyler Memorial Hospital, Tunkhannock.
   
Born Feb. 4, 1939, in New York, he was the son of the late James P. and
Martha (MacIntosh) Sheehan. He was a 1951 graduate of Ridgefield Park High
School, Ridgefield, N.J., and was a U.S. Army veteran, serving with the
military police in the 24th Infantry Division. He was employed by Sanvick
Steel Co., Waverly, and the Trane Co., Dunmore. He was a member of Local 730
Steel Workers of Scranton.
   
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Judith C. Conklin.
   
Surviving are a son, William P. Jr., Tunkhannock; daughters, Bonnie
Kitchen, Dalton; Theresa Weeks, Tunkhannock; five grandchildren; and a
great-granddaughter.
   
There will be no services or calling hours. Interment will be at the
family’s convenience.
   
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Northeast, Clarks Summit.
   
Arrangements are by the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Tunkhannock.
