Misericordia drops pair
KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Misericordia fell to 4-4 with a 2-1 loss to Maryville and
a 4-3 setback to Kean at the Rebel Games.
Amber Lazorka was 2-for-3 with two singles and an RBI against Maryville.
Coughlin High School graduate Kerri Buckman doubled and scored a run. Losing
pitcher Rachel Matthews struck out six.
Lazorka singled and had two RBI against Kean, while her sister, Kirsten,
had two hits. Crestwood graduate Angie Wincek tripled and scored a run. Losing
pitcher Mindy Brown allowed eight hits and struck out three.
The Cougars finish up their Florida trip today with games against Thiel and
Wisconsin Engineering.
