Wayne Whipple

Wayne G. Whipple, of Reynolds Street, Factoryville, died Wednesday at Tyler
Memorial Hospital, Tunkhannock.
Born Nov. 19, 1933, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Tyson and
Bessie (Wright) Whipple. He worked as a farmer.
Surviving are his wife of eight years, the former Minnie Dickson; sons,
Ronnie, Tunkhannock; Dennis, Williamsport; daughter, Kimberly Whipple,
Farmington, N.M.; stepsons, Ronald Smith, Texas; Timothy Smith, Albuquerque,
N.M.; Johnson Mason Jr. and Jonah Mason, both of Aztec, N.M; stepdaughter,
Sherry Liertz, Flora Vista, N.M.; 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren;
brother, Theron, Aztec, N.M.; sisters, Annabelle Wagner, Hollidaysburg;
Asenith Campbell, Muncy; Mary Cohick, Saladsburg.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday from Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral
Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with the Rev. Paul J. Fields,
officiating. Interment will be at the family’s convenience.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the service time Saturday.
