ARE THERE ANY LAWS THAT APPLY SPECIFICALLY TO PEOPLE WHO IN LIVE IN DOUBLE
BLOCK HOUSES? MY GRANDMOTHER HAS LIVED IN FORTY FORT FOR THE LAST 57 YEARS.
HER BROTHER (WHO IS NOW DECEASED) LIVED ON THE OTHER SIDE. NOW THAT HE HAS
PASSED AWAY, A NEW “FAMILY” HAS MOVED IN THE OTHER SIDE. THE DOUBLE DRIVEWAY
FOR THE ENTIRE DOUBLE BLOCK IS ON “THEIR” SIDE AND WHEN THEY MOVED IN, BEING
THAT THE HALF OF THE DRIVE WAS NOT DEEDED TO HER, THE NEW NEIGHBOR WITH HER
ONE CAR HAS DISALLOWED MY GRANDMOTHER USE OF IT, EVEN GOING AS FAR AS TO PUT A
SIGN WITH A SPOT LIGHT ON IT IN HER FRONT YARD. NOW, I DON’T WANT TO SOUND
PETTY, BUT HOW IS IT THAT THIS WOMAN CAN COME INTO A HOME AND DISRUPT THE
LIVES OF THE PEOPLE AROUND HER? WHAT KIND OF RIGHTS DOES MY GRANDMOTHER HAVE?
IT IS NOT FAIR THAT SOMEONE WHO HAS MADE A HOME IN A PLACE FOR AS LONG AS SHE
HAS SHOULD BE DRIVEN OUT BY A NEIGHBOR THAT HAS NO RESPECT FOR OTHERS OR FOR
HERSELF. I AM VERY UPSET ON THE WAY SHE HAS TALKED TO MY MOTHER AND
GRANDMOTHER. SHE HAS EVEN GONE AS FAR AS TO TELL MY GRAM THAT IF THE DOG
BARKING BOTHERS HER TO MOVE! CAN YOU IMAGINE THE GALL? BEING THAT SO MANY
PEOPLE HERE IN THE VALLEY LIVE IN DOUBLE BLOCK HOUSES, I FEEL THAT THIS MAY BE
MORE OF AN ISSUE THAN WE THINK. IF ANYONE ELSE HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM, PLEASE
LET ME HERE FROM YOU. Tracey Draus
