We know, we know.
We said “The Price is Right” episode with Dallas High School Principal
Frank Galicki would air Friday, but it didn’t.
It was supposed to, but CBS replaced it at the last minute with a repeat in
anticipation of Secretary of State Colin Powell addressing the U.N. Security
Council.
Good thing the Galicki episode didn’t air. CBS News broke into the episode
15 minutes before the end – just when they would’ve been showing him win his
trip to Singapore in the Showcase Showdown.
Galicki said Friday that Dallas High School students’ schedules were
rearranged and lunch served early so they could watch the show. “And then,
boom, I got bumped.”
The episode is set to run Monday. Galicki hopes the students’ schedules
will allow them to view the episode that day.
Galicki, 51, taped the show on Feb. 25 while on a trip to California for a
National Association of Secondary School Principals conference.
