Caroline K. Weiss of St. Mary’s Street, Plains Township, died Friday at
home.
   
Born Oct. 20, 1908, in Plains Township, she was a daughter of the late
Joseph and Josephine (Tocek) Rymar. She attended Plains Township schools, and
was employed at Plains Silk Mill. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul
Church, Plains Township.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin; sons, Adam, Matthew;
brothers, Stanley, Walter, Frank; sisters, Stella Roszkowski, Josephine
Driana, and Victoria Meyers.
   
Surviving are her daughter, Betty Zawatski, Plains Township; four
grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Nellie Blazis, Plains
Township; and nieces and nephews.
   
Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Monday from the Jendrzejewski Funeral Home,
21 N. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in
SS. Peter and Paul Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Plains
Township.
