    David Carl Scott, 72, of Harveys Lake, died Sunday at Wilkes-Barre General
Hospital.
   
Born Sept. 12, 1930, in Kunkle, he was a son of the late Alvin and Lilly
(Kittle) Scott. He graduated from Kingston High School and worked as a
machinist for General Cigar Co., Kingston. He was a member of the Alderson
United Methodist Church, Harveys Lake, and Bowman’s Creek Watershed
Association.
   
He was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn; sisters, Marie, Violet White
and Beatrice Lapallo.
   
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, the former Viola White; son, David L.,
Harveys Lake; daughter, Twila Kaplanski, Hunlock Creek; brothers, Alvin H. and
Corey E., both of Kunkle; Allen Paul, Edwardsville; Gene R., Noxen; sisters,
Della Dymond, Beaumont; and Katherine Wilson, Mehoopany.
   
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Curtis L. Swanson
Funeral Home Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with the Rev.
Dolly Tarreto officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park,
Dallas.
   
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
   
Memorial donations may be made to the Alderson United Methodist Church, RR
1, Box 234, Harveys Lake.
