Joanne Jones

Joanne Marie Jones of Schooley Avenue, Exeter, and formerly of Wilkes-Barre
and Wyoming, died Sunday in Hospice Care of the VNA Inpatient Unit at Heritage
House, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Plymouth, she graduated from Wyoming Valley West High School. She
was a legal secretary for attorney William J. McCall of Kingston. She was a
member of St. John the Baptist Church, Exeter, and past president of the
Knights of Columbus Council 302, Wilkes-Barre.
Surviving are her husband of eight years, Edmund; daughter, Candice Dymond,
Kingston Township; and brother, Thomas Vanook.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday from the Metcalfe & Shaver
Funeral Home, 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, with a Mass of Christian Burial at
9:30 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church. Interment will be in Mount Olivet
Cemetery, Carverton, Kingston Township.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer
Society Wyoming Valley Unit, Northeast Region, Wilkes-Barre.
