John Lipka

    John Lipka, 82, of Bath, died Feb. 8, 2003, in Manor Care II, Bethlehem.
   
Born March 29, 1920, in Nanticoke, he was a son of the late Peter and Anna
(Shurkala) Lipka. He worked in the bricklaying and trucking departments of the
Bethlehem Steel Co., Bethlehem. He served in the U.S. Army during World War
II. He was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Nanticoke, and
of the Point Phillips and Petersville rod-and-gun clubs.
   
Surviving are his sister, Ann Barney, Chicago; and brother, Stephen,
Hunlock Creek.
   
Interment was private at the convenience of the family.
   
There will be no calling hours.
   
Memorial donations may be made to the The Salvation Army, 214 Spring Garden
St., Easton.
   
Arrangements are by the George G. Bensing Funeral Home Inc., Moorestown.
