Felix Yaglowski

    Felix Yaglowski of Slocum Street, Swoyersville, died Sunday at home.
   
Born in Pringle, he was a son of the late Benjamin and Helen (Lyman)
Yaglowski. He worked for various coal mines and for Grand Union, New Jersey.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Holy
Name/St. Mary’s Church, Swoyersville, and of the American Legion Post 644,
Swoyersville.
   
He was preceded in death by a sister, Stella Karis; brothers, Walter,
Thomas, Alec, Stanley, Joseph and Anthony; and companion, Viola Bugjas.
   
Surviving are his daughters, Stella Basile, Albrightsville; Phyllis Gregor,
Mans Choice; Christine Alvarez, Passaic, N.J.; six grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Amos and brother, Stephen, both of
Swoyersville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
   
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday from the Lehman-Gregory
Funeral Home Inc., 281 Chapel St., Swoyersville, with a Mass of Christian
Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Name/St. Mary’s Church. Interment will be in
Dennison Cemetery, Swoyersville.
   
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today, with a wake service in
the evening.
