HEY WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP Police, we need some speeding enforcement here on
East Northampton Street. These speed idiots are starting to forget the
enforcement that you guys were doing back in the fall and the summer of last
year, starting to become the speedway track here again. Let’s go guys, we need
some help up here before someone gets creamed.
   
I’M CONFUSED ABOUT Bridgid O’Connor’s comments about the methadone clinic,
she asked us all to be compassionate (about) her husband and the Luzerne
Intermediate Unit, and yet she says that she has no compassion at all for
people that are on methadone. It makes no sense to me.
    THIS IS FLAMERS 2 Hot Sauce Specialty Shop calling, I’m so thankful that
you printed a couple weeks ago about our grand opening, March 1st, but we are
not a hot dog shop, we are a hot sauce (shop), a couple people came in looking
to buy hot dogs. We also sell barbecue sauce and wing sauce.
   
TO THE PERSON or persons who have been stealing car stereo systems, busting
into peoples’ cars here in Larksville and I hope you feel good about
yourselves for what you are doing. Just remember there is a God up above and
He will be getting you one day for what you are doing to the people of
Larksville.
   
PLEASE DO NOT let a methadone clinic go up there in Plains because if you
open a clinic up there, it might hurt the business, I’m talking about the drug
business. There are so many places up in Plains that you can score heroin that
a methadone clinic might just knock them people out of business and that
wouldn’t be right.

THIS IS TO the person who took a long black coat from Geisinger Wyoming
Valley Hospital emergency room. I hope you wear it in good health. It was
taken while I was being treated in the emergency room.
   
HOORAY FOR THE Wyoming Valley West School Board for denying the charter
school application that would have had Valley West paying $700,000 a year in
tuition for Joseph Murray to teach kindergarten students to act and dance.
This would cost the taxpayers 10 mills of taxes.
   
IRAQ IS NOT about oil for President Bush. France, Germany, Russia and China
oppose an Iraqi war because they are the countries who have oil and oil
exploration rights with Saddam. Check it out.
   
I’VE JUST BEEN watching “Nightline” and I turned it off. I am so sick of
this propaganda by the administration to try and get the people all worked up
about war and they are interviewing our soldiers over there who are waiting
maybe to die and it is so depressing.
   
THE EDITORIAL IN today’s paper by the Times Leader about the methadone
clinic is all wet. Methadone clinics have been in existence for at least 35
years in inner cities and it really doesn’t work. If methadone clinics really
worked then why are our prisons still full of drug addicts, drug users and
drug dealers? Pennsylvania now has 40,000 prisoners in their prison system.
Where’s the numbers to show that methadone actually helps people to get off
drugs and be a productive citizen compared to the cost? How about the victims
of crimes that are drug related? You haven’t given us the true picture.
   
I THINK THEY ought to give the Stubbs trial a change of venue so the
prosecution will get a fair shake, not going to get it in Luzerne County.
