Anthony “Shish” Shission, 78, of Bubblo Street, Wyoming, died Tuesday at
Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
   
Born June 15, 1924, in Swoyersville, he was a son of the late Anthony and
Anna Shission. He attended Swoyersville schools and was employed by Nelson
Manufacturing, West Wyoming and as an upholsterer by Comfort Designs,
Kingston.
    He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church and its Holy Name Society,
West Wyoming and was a member of the Wyoming Hose Co. 2.
   
He was preceded in death by brother, Charles; sisters, Mary Costello and
Anna Bartosh.
   
Surviving are his wife, the former Rose Marie Bubblo; daughter, Jacqueline
Sorick, Exeter; brothers, Andrew, Cleveland; Steven, New Jersey; John, Plains
Township; sisters, Tessie Melani, Levittown; Josephine Hizny, West Wyoming;
and several nieces and nephews.
   
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Friday from the Bednarski Funeral Home,
168 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at Our
Lady of Sorrows Church, West Wyoming. Interment will be in Mount Olivet
Cemetery, Carverton, Kingston Township.
   
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
