Charles Keeney

Charles Grayden Keeney, 72, of Terrytown, died Monday at Memorial Hospital,
Towanda.
Born Nov. 2, 1930, in Terry Township, he was a son of the late Ivan and
Ruth (Bailey) Keeney. He was a 1949 graduate of Wyalusing High School and
worked in farming and as a milk truck driver. He was employed as a truck
driver for Strickland Beverage, Towanda for many years and for a logging
company. He was a member of the Towanda Rod & Gun Club.
He was preceded in death by sister, Esther Jane Smiley Hope, Wyalusing.
Surviving are sons, David C., Wyalusing; Michael, Pine City, N.Y.; five
grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several many nieces and nephews;
companion, Ruth Marshall, Dushore.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday from the P. Dean homer Funeral
Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, with the Rev. Barry R. Ballard,
officiating.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of services Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wyalusing
Ambulance Association, P.O. Box 787, Wyalusing.
