george j. kochis, kingstonLuzerne County now has a government of the
judges, by the judges, for the judges.

Whom are we, the people, to even entertain the thought that democracy is a
government of the people, by the people, for the people?
One of our judges overruled an election, a process where people are allowed
to express their right to choose elected leaders and referendums. Another
judge acted like a CEO of a corporation, handing out pay raises to public
employees.

Those who stand in front of the judge for violating the law are punished or
fined. Now the taxpayers provide an endless supply of money to be used at
their discretion.

In the Old Testament, Israel was ruled by judges, those who were found to
be unrighteous were exiled for 40 years. Maybe America should consider the
same process.
