PITTSTON TWP. – Additional charges have been filed against a West Pittston
man accused of offering a teenage boy up to $5,000 for sex, according to court
papers.

Police said Kenneth William Roberto, 29, repeatedly offered a 17-year-old
boy money to perform various sex acts and allow Roberto to videotape him.
The boy told police he met Roberto in June or July on a ride-along program
with Pittston Township Ambulance – where Roberto worked.

Charges filed Tuesday against Roberto include criminal solicitation and
corruption of minors. Charges of sexual abuse of children, corruption of
minors, displaying obscene sexual material and criminal use of a communication
facility were filed against Roberto last week, according to police.

Roberto is lodged at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility in lieu of
$30,000 cash bail, police said.

Pittston Township Police Chief Stephen Rinaldi said the department is
investigating if Roberto had propositioned other children. Anyone with
information is asked to call police at 655-6350.
