Sam Salinsky

    Sam Michael Salinsky, 63, of Mill Street, Pittston, died Monday at home.
   
Born July 30, 1939, in Pittston, he was the son of the late Simon and
Margaret (Michaels) Salinsky. He was a 1957 graduate of Pittston High School
and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was employed by Procter & Gamble, Meshoppen,
and also as a freelance photographer for The Scranton Times, The Citizens’
Voice and Sunday Dispatch. He was a member of St. Casimir’s Church and the
Lithuanian Citizen’s Club, both of Pittston.
   
Surviving is a sister, Dolores Knizer, Scottsdale, Ariz.
   
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday from the Kizis-Lokuta Funeral
Home, 134 Church St., Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m.
at St. Casimir’s Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
   
Friends may call from 8 a.m. until the time of services Thursday.
