C. Edwin Killian

    C. Edwin ”Ed” Killian, 68, of Shickshinny Valley Road, Shickshinny, died
Tuesday.
   
Born Nov. 21, 1934, in Salem Township, he was a son of the late Charles W.
and Grace (Ridall) Killian. He served in the U.S. National Guard. He was
employed by AC&F Industries, Berwick; Berwick Forge and Fabricating; Royer
Foundry, Shickshinny Borough; Kool Kup; as a bus driver for Ridell Bus Lines
and also worked at Wilkes-Barre and Shickshinny post offices. He worked for
the board of Elections for Luzerne County and as Judge of Elections. He was a
member of Bible Baptist Church, Shickshinny, and coached the Five Mountain
Midget football team. He was a founding member of Northwest Area Booster Club.
   
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Yvonne R. Taylor.
   
Surviving are sons, Richard, Benton; James, Hunlock Creek; Timothy,
Tennessee; daughters, Pamala Scott, Reyburn; Lisa Beach, Cambra; 11
grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Rodger, Shickshinny; Leroy,
Florida; Thomas, Bloomsburg; sister, Emily Culver, Shickshinny.
   
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday from the Heller Funeral Home,
Nescopeck. Interment will be in Sorber Cemetery, Reyburn.
   
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
   
Memorial donations may be sent to the Missionary Fund of Bible Baptist
Church, 43 Furnace St., Shickshinny.
