Lake-Lehman High School graduate Amy Donovan, a sophomore communication
design major, played in two games for the Golden Bears and was named to the
squad last year. She has a 3.41 grade-point average.
Tunkhannock graduate Carol Seyler, a senior elementary education major,
played in 10 games at midfielder and with a 3.75 grade-point average, was
named to the squad for the third consecutive year.
O’Reilly hoops ticket sale set
Tickets for Bishop O’Reilly’s PIAA boys basketball quarterfinal game will
be sold at O’Reilly from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. today and tomorrow. Tickets for adults
cost $6 and advance student tickets cost $3 ($6 at the door).
The game will be played at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at Martz Hall in Pottsville.
