Eleanor Groves

Eleanor Theresa Groves, 85, of Laflin, died Thursday at Wesley Village,
Jenkins Township.
Born March 7, 1918, in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Elmer
and Elizabeth Anna (Boyle) Brown. She was a member of St. Maria Goretti Roman
Catholic Church, Laflin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Sr.; daughter, Sally Ann
Barclay; sister, Adelaide Montgomery; and brother, Elmer Brown.
Surviving are son, Edward Jr., Laflin; and a grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Maria Goretti
Roman Catholic Church, Laflin. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery,
Carverton, Kingston Township.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of services Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent De Paul
Kitchen, Wilkes-Barre, or to St. Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, Laflin.
