Grace Elizabeth Lewis

Grace Elizabeth “Becky” Lewis, of Reynolds Street, Plymouth, died Friday
at ManorCare Health Services, Kingston.
Born Aug. 12, 1905, in Plymouth, she was a daughter of the late William H.
and Hattie (Wolfe) Prescott. She attended Plymouth schools and was employed by
Kocher’s Grocery Store, Saul’s Grocery Store, Plymouth and Bergman’s
Department Store. She was a member of the Franklin Street Primitive Methodist
Church, Plymouth, where she taught Sunday school, and a member of its Ladies
Aid, Missionary Society and Christian Endeavor Alumni. She was a member of
Fore Co. 1 Ladies Auxiliary, Plymouth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David D.; sisters, Mary Ann
Llewellyn, Louisa Prescott, Florence Heisler; brothers, William H. and Richard
W.
Surviving are daughter, Mary Ann Cope, Plymouth; son, Rev. Richard,
Edgerton, Wis.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Rachel
Wilson, Plymouth.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the Williams Funeral Home,
114 W. Main St., Plymouth, with the Rev. Donald Gilmore, officiating.
Interment will be in Bloomingdale Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday.
