James Coyne, 57, Vestal, N.Y., passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2003. He
was pre-deceased by his parents, Gerald and Mildred Coyne of West 6th, Street,
Wyoming. James was a graduate of Wyoming High School, class of 1963, and Kings
College, Wilkes-Barre, PA, class of 1967. He retired from Susquehanna Valley
School District, Binghamton, N.Y. area after teaching 30 years. He also taught
at the University of Binghamton and was also active in the Upward Bound
program.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Lorraine Coyne, daughter of the
late Joe Wateski of Wyoming and Florence Wateski, who now resides in Dallas,
Pa. Also survived by daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jeff Zeyak and
grandchildren Kyle, Caleb, and Anna Zeyak, of Endicott, N.Y.; son, Brian,
grandson, Noah Coyne; daughters, Amy and Amber Coyne all in the Binghamton,
N.Y. area; sister, Judy Talowski, Wyoming. Interment was in the Vestal Hills
Memorial Park, Vestal, N.Y.
In remembrance of Jim’s dedication to education, donations for the
continuing education of his daughter’s Amy and Amber are being accepted at the
Visions Federal Credit Union in c/o Lisa Zeyak, Credit Union Plaza, 24
McKinley Ave., Endicott, N.Y. 13760.
