Jonelle Davis Hadvance,50, of Lackawanna Lane, Kingston, died Friday at
home.
   
Born in Kingston, she was a daughter of Mary R. (Chervenitski) Davis,
Kingston, and the late Arthur D. Davis Sr. She was educated in Kingston
schools and was a graduate of the Allegheny School of Nursing, Pittsburgh. She
was employed as a licensed practical nurse by the Department of Veterans
Affairs Medical Center, Plains Township, and the Allegheny Hospital of
Pittsburgh, for many years. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption
Byzantine Catholic Church, Wilkes-Barre.
    She was preceded in death by brothers, Arthur D. Jr. and Harry M.
   
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her husband, James, at home;
sisters, Rita Galenty, West Wyoming; Audrey Emmert, Kingston; brothers, Daniel
A. and Andrew W., Forty Fort; Thomas, Alden; Keith James, New Bedford, Mass.;
Barry, Plymouth; Richard, Swoyersville; Warren J., Kingston; Edward,
Edwardsville; and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
   
Funeral services with Panachida will be at 9 a.m. Monday from the John V.
Morris Funeral Home, 625 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, with a Ritual of Christian
Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church,
with the Rev. James G. Hayer, officiating. Interment will be in the parish
cemetery, Dallas.
   
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. A Parastas service will
be at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Joseph M. Kakalec S.J., parochial vicar,
officiating.
   
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer
Society, Wilkes-Barre.
