June Yale

    June A. Yale, 81, of George Avenue, Parsons section of Wilkes-Barre, died
Saturday at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
   
Born July 6, 1921, in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Earl and
Meda (Fetterhoff) Howells. She was educated in Wilkes-Barre schools and was a
member of Apostolic Faith Church, West Pittston and the Parsons Miners-Mills
Senior Citizens.
   
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin O.; grandson, Calvin
Rutkowski; sisters, Ruth Lavix, Shirley Sarti, brother, Louis Howells.
   
Surviving are children, Earl H., Baltimore; June Marie Fink, Askam; Calvin
O. Jr., Fox Hill; Rita Rutkowski, Parsons; Almeda Patts, Hudson; Robert,
Parsons; Ruth Tarnalicki, Pittston; Rose Marie Yale, at home; Deborah Blazick,
Wilkes-Barre; Shirley Milbrodt, Nanpa, Idaho; Mary Lou Walkowiak, West
Wyoming; Willard E., Edwardsville; 24 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren;
brother, Jack, Baltimore.
   
Funeral services will be at noon Wednesday from the E. Blake Collins
Funeral Home, 159 George Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with the Rev. Philip Webb,
officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Park, Carverton.
   
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
