Lillian Bucknavage, 77, of North Gates Avenue, Kingston, died Saturday at
Kingston Commons.
   
Born June 22, 1925, in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late John
and Mary (Saraka) Chorba. She was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School,
Wilkes-Barre and was a member of St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church,
Wilkes-Barre.
    Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Al; daughter, Carol Chmiel, with
whom she resided; brother, John, Orangeville; sister, Ann Chernesky,
Southington, Conn.; and several nieces and nephews.
   
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday from the John V. Morris
Funeral Home, 625 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, with services at 10 a.m. at St.
Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Hugh A. Pillsbury,
officiating. Interment will be in Fern Knoll Burial Park, Dallas.
   
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. A Prayer service will be held
Monday evening.
   
Memorial donations may be made to St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church,
Wilkes-Barre.
