John O’Byrne
March 15, 2003
John O’Byrne Jr., 50, of Wright Township and formerly of Mountain Top, died
Saturday at home.
Born Jan. 8, 1953, in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late Beverly Loucks
O’Byrne. He graduated from Tunkhannock Area High School. He worked as a
service technician for Benco Dental Supply, Wilkes-Barre Township.
Surviving are his wife, the former Beth Stevens; son, John Steven, at home;
sisters, Donna Suhoski, Nuangola; Patricia Rukstalis, Gainesville, Fla.;
Michele Mascioli, Nanticoke; brothers, Fred, Mountain Top; Michael, Hazleton;
Daniel, Virginia; and Kevin Quinn, Pittsburgh.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the McCune Funeral Home,
80 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top, with the Rev. Michele Kaufman officiating.
Private interment will be at the convenience of the family in Hanover Green
Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice Community Care, Kingston.
