I’M READING HERE with great interest about the methadone patients who get
reimbursed by the state, I can’t believe this. You know I have a wife with
terminal breast cancer, you know what she gets from the state? Nothing.

THANK YOU TO the three kind gentlemen whom on February 24th, on East
Dorrance Street in Kingston, a crossing guard, a passerby, and an off-duty
paramedic, each seeing my needs, they selflessly stopped and took a moment
from their lives to offer assistance as I had fallen on snow-covered ice and
broke my ankle and leg. They took me from the cold ice and sought medical
attention. It meant so much and reinforced my faith in mankind. Thank you guys
and may God be with you that the deed be returned to you in your favor.
I DON’T KNOW if this is a little item for Jennifer Learn of if it’s for
SAYSO, but it’s very interesting if you were to check out to see who the next
Director of the Luzerne County Transportation Authority is going to be. I
think his first name is Tom and his last name is Pizano.

EDITOR’S NOTE: There’s been talk of this possibility for months, and Pizano
has repeatedly said he isn’t seeking or receiving any job from the authority.
An authority member said that he never heard of Pizano being promised a job
and wouldn’t consider him because the authority is seeking someone with
transportation experience, and Pizano doesn’t have it.

INFORMATION, IN ORDER for citizens and the only weapons citizens have
against incompetent politicians is the ability to vote. Would you please tell
us if Michael Toole who announced his candidacy for judge, is the same Toole
that owned that business on River Street that went bankrupt and then his
father tried to sell it back to the county for a halfway house? Now we need
information like this to determine who is going to be the most qualified
judge. Please answer the question or are you afraid?

EDITOR’S NOTE: Michael Toole is the judge’s son, but newspaper files say
the judge’s other son, Pat, operated the business.

COMMENT, 911 IS a joke. We all pay for it but we get nothing out of it. You
call the Wilkes-Barre Police if you need them, forget it, half of them can’t
even find the street. Besides when they do come, they’re an hour and a half
late after an accident. I can prove it because I was involved in one. We have
no police force, that’s why drugs are rampant in the City of Wilkes-Barre
nothing ever gets checked out. That’s my comment and it is the truth.

ABOUT THIS MODIFIED kindergarten in Wilkes-Barre. Now they switch the kids
from morning to afternoon halfway through the school year so whenever they
have a two-hour delay they put these kids on modified kindergarten. In the
afternoon they go from 1:15 to 2:50, an hour and a half. To make these kids
get dressed in this cold weather to go to school for an hour and a half. They
should just cancel morning kindergarten and have full afternoon kindergarten
or have a full-day session of kindergarten. This is ridiculous to do this.

SAYSO IS REQUIRED reading everyday to make sure the Bush bashers are still
alive and well. They believe that if they spew their lies and venom often
enough, people will believe it. What fools.

I’M TRYING TO buy rag carpets, they usually come in a set of three and I
was wondering if anyone in the reading area knows where I could purchase them?
