THE TURNCOAT HOCKEY fans brought a stench to the arena once again,
cheering for goals against the Penguins. You people simply stink.

I WISH YOU would find out why junior high teams in public schools do not
have tryouts. The private schools have tryouts to cut these teams down. Some
of these junior high baseball teams have 100 students on them. Now that’s
ridiculous. All of these kids cannot be that adept at baseball. There has to
be something they could do better. I feel some parents use these programs as
after-school babysitting and the schools should put a stop to it. They should
have tryouts for the kids and let them play, and let the other kids find
something they are good at.
HEY GLENN PATRICK, you said your team had a chance to win 12 out if its
last 16 games. Who ever came up with a dumb thought like that? Must have been
your big brother. By the way, did you call him today to see if you could use
the bathroom. Why don’t you tell him you are destroying the only good fan base
he has, Wilkes-Barre.

I BELIEVE MY St. Louis Cardinals are beating a dead horse with Ankiel. I
hope I’m wrong.

IF THE PENGUINS blow this opportunity to make the playoffs this year with
all the talent they have, I think we should make April 5 Glenn Patrick day at
the arena. April 5, anybody who has a ticket to that game, stay home. Maybe
the Pittsburgh Penguins will get the message.

THE WYOMING AREA School District was literally embarrassed because of its
wrestling program this year. Scores such as 68-0 and 72-3 are unheard of. We
need a coach that is in-house. We had a terrible season, and now is the time
to get a coach who can work with the kids during the day.

ANOTHER RACING SEASON has started at Pocono Downs and once again the P.A.
system does not work for the third year in a row. You can’t hear the announcer
call the race. You’d think after three years somebody would do something about
it.

THIS IS FOR the caller who said the Times Leader should cover the
Washington Capitals more because they are going to win the Stanley Cup this
year, I have two questions for you: What the heck are you smoking, and where
can you get some of it?

ALL I CAN say is that this is the end of the road for Hoban girls
basketball. In order to beat Allentown Central Catholic, they’d have to have
at least three Meredith Alexis on the team. Good luck next year, Hoban,
because this is the end of the road for you.
